Court refuses to lift Ban on IPOB

Justice Adamu Kafarati of the Federal High Court in Abuja, today January 18th, affirmed the proscription made on IPOB on 20th September 2017. He insisted that the order to ban IPOB and her activities were validly made.

 He said this after rejecting an application by IPOB challenging the court's ruling on her case.


A N500,000 cost was awarded against IPOB.

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer of the indegenous people of Biafra said that the decision will be appealed. He commended the judge for his ruling.
