Bride beaten to death because of 100 Naira debt

Tragedy struck keffi,a community in Nassarawa state, Nigeria yesterday as a lady identified as Amina Abdullahi was beaten to death by her uncle Hamisu.

Amina was a soon-to-be-bride, whose wedding had been slated for the weekend. Reports have it that this tragedy occurred after Hamisu went to his sister's house (Amina's mother) to ask for his 100 Naira debt.

Argument ensued between them, and Amina who could not Stand her Uncle shower insults on her mother, then joined the altercation. This angered Hamisu, and he then descended on Amina mercilessly, until she fainted. Amina was then rushed to the hospital where she has been confirmed dead.
