Three armed robbers arrested for chopping off youth corper’s hand in Bayelsa State
Three persons have been nabbed by the Bayelsa State Police Command for robbing a Corpers’ Lodge in Sagbama area of the state, during which they allegedly cut off a corps member’s hand.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Command, Asinim Butswat, hinted that a fourth suspect was still at large and will be arrested soon.
Reports have it that the suspects allegedly robbed a Corpers’ Lodge at Angalabiri community of Sagbama on Sunday, and chopped off the hand of a corps member identified as Luntis Julius, from Taraba State, with a machete.
A laptop and two mobile phones were also stolen from the victim. According to Butswat, the names of the arrested suspects are Mosan Youdougha, 22; Godswill Vincent, 21; he added that the third suspect was yet to be handed over to the Police.
