Gov. Ambode’s Special Adviser, Deji Tinubu slumps, dies during a novelty match

Former Chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission and the special adviser to Governor George Ambode on sports Deji Tinubu is Dead. He slumped while playing a novelty football match on thursday organised as part of the retreat for the state executive members. He was rushed to the hospital but was confirmed dead few hours later. Photos taken few minutes before the match in which he slumped shows the Governor and other top officials in the state.


A source said,

“He slumped while playing football this evening at Retreat with Governor in Epe, took to the Charlet clinic but was later rushed to the General Hospital in EPE when condition didn’t improve…. unfortunately, we lost Uncle Deji Tinubu is gone.”

He is 5th left in the photo above which was taken few minutes before he slumped.
