Gunners of Shame! See letter sent to Arsene wenger by an angry Arsenal fan before their match with chelsea

After the “invinscibles” were disassembled and David Dein left Arsenal, the gunners have been nothing short of a source of emotional distress for most Gunners faithful. The absence of pressure from the Arsenal board suddenly made Arsene wenger to lose his ruthlessness and zeal for further success in his coaching career. He suddenly resorted to buying less physical players, rather he shifted his focus on little, pacy and technically gifted players. He suddenly forgot that physicality especially in midfield and defence with a good blend of technicality and pace is a major factor to success in England top flight.

He suddenly forgot the mould of his midfield players that won him the league titles. Remember the likes of Patrick Vieira, Ray Parlour, Gilberto silva, Edu, Sol Campbell, Tony Adams, Martin Keown and the likes. Abramovich’s Army at Chelsea have enjoyed much success by blending physically imposing but technically gifted players in midfield. Manchester city leveraged so much on Yaya Toure’s physical build to win the league like wise Manchester united. These top teams have bullied Arsenal in most games. Remember the 8 -2 defeat, the 6 nil defeats , the 5- nil defeats. In fact no other team currently in the top 6 have suffered such level of embarrassment.

Arsene wenger has failed in his project of grooming young unknown players to bulid a title winning team just like Alex ferguson did in the early 90’s. Remember Gibbs, Bendtner, Alliadiere, Senderos, Armand Traore, Denilson, Wilshere, Walcott, Ramsey? They all failed to attain the level of greatness that was expected of them. Arsene wenger gave them so much time at the expense of the team, and this caused Arsenal a lot. He suddenly became one-dimensional repeating the same game plan in virtually all the games. His frugality in the transfer market is second to none, he failed to sign big names, he recurrently expressed his believe that “Money cannot buy success in football” and he is an ardent supporter of the financial fair play . Chelsea, Manchester city, PSG has clearly proved that “money”is a catalyst to success in football. Money can raise a mediocre team to become a top team!

The worst of all is that Arsenal’s next door neighbour Tottenham have been improving greatly during the last 12 seasons and they finally succeeded in finishing above Arsenal for the first time under Arsene Wenger’s era.. This is not a good indicator. Chelsea have already dislodged Arsenal as the top team in London and a major challenger to Manchester united. The worst will be for Tottenham to do the same thing. Infact, the three FA cup wins are not enough to appease the gunners faithful for these embarrassments!

The Arsenal team does not possess the winning mentally needed to propel them to the title and Arsene wenger has not been able to motivate the players. Infact, the players have lost confidence in him and his project! Chamberlain blatantly refused to sign as well as Sanchez and Ozil. They now look else where to achieve success in their football careers. I see no reason why these players will not desire to leave the Emirates as their team mates who left ended up winning titles in their new clubs. Remember Van persie at Manchester united, Adebayor, sagna, Nasri all won the league with Manchester City. Ashley cole and Fabregas have enjoyed recurrent successes at their new clubs. I Guess Mezut Ozil will be very angry with himself for leaving Real Madrid as Real Madrid have won 3 champions league titles in his absence.

Arsene Wenger has lost it! I guess old age is a major factor. Its high time the Arsenal board mount some pressure or better still look for a replacement. Not just a replacement but a proven world class coach who will be able to revolutionalize the team within a short time and catapult Arsenal to becoming a title winning team!!
