60 IPOB members arrested during clash with Army sent to prison

About 60 IPOB agitators who were arrested during the clash in Abia state have been sent to prison. This was made known to newsmen after the chief magistrate Court sitting in umuahia, Abia state ordered that they should be remanded in court until the next next court sitting on October 25th.


The police public relations officer in Abia state Godfrey Ogbonna intimated that the IPOB members were arraigned on an 8-count charge of attempted murder, conspiracy, terrorism, membership in an unlawful organisation and illegal rioting among others.
