John Mikel Obi’s Russian wife Olga Diyachenko revealed today on instagram how they met and started dating.
Olga said:
Mikel used to be my parent’s neighbour. We lived there for 5 years. As my parents were leaving the flat, I went to drop off the keys at his flat. That was how we met. We became friends and later grew up to become lovers. It was never a magical love story because we lived together for 5 years but we never met until the day I went to drop the keys when my parents were about to leave the apartment
Olga and Mikel had a set of female twins in 2015 and Olga revealed that their daughters don’t have any Igbo or Russian names because they were born in London and are regarded as citizens of the world, so they can choose to be a Britain, Nigerian or Russian. She also revealed that she does not enjoy watching Nigerian movies but rather enjoys Listening to Nigerian Hip hop music. She added that she would support Mikel and Nigeria during the 2018 world cup in Russia
