Diego Costa Opens Court case against Chelsea . See Why!

SportsMail has reported that Spain striker Diego Costa has opened a legal case against Chelsea football club. The legal proceedings have now started. This follows a threat last week by Costa's Lawyer Ricardo Cardoso who threatened to utilise "all possible legal mechanisms" against Chelsea and submit a formal transfer request in response to what he referred to as the "discriminatory behaviour" of head coach Antonio Conte for delaying his potential return to his former club, Atletico Madrid.

Diego Costa who has been banished by Chelsea football club has made 89 appearances with 52 goals to show for since signing for Chelsea in 2014. Costa accused Chelsea's head coach Antonio Conte of informing him that he was no longer wanted at the club via a text message during the summer. On Friday, Conte said at a press conference there was 'no news' on Costa and responded 'I don't know' when asked when the want away striker might return to London.
