FG ends Bsc HND dichotomy: Approves equal salaries

The Dichotomy between the Bsc holders salaries and that of their counterparts with HND in the federal civil service has been regulated. This was made known in Abuja by a statement by Abubakar Magaji, the permanent secretary, ministry of interior.

The statement was borne from the approval of the board meeting presided over by Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, the minister of interior. The board directed the upgrading of the HND holders to the same grade level as that of holders of Bsc at entry point. The Bsc holders will be ranked Assistant Superintendent II while the HND holders will be ranked senior Inspector at entry.
