BIAFRAN GROUP FORMS INTERIM GOVERNMENT CABINET

A group in Biafra, "the Biafra zionist federation" has declared that the South eastern part is no longer part of Nigeria. They have named their cabinet members.

Barr. Benjamin Onwuka, the self-acclaimed president of Biafra announced to reporters in Enugu that Biafra has split from Nigeria and that the interim government will be in charge of affairs of Biafra with effect from August 1st. Onwuka declared: “I am the President of Biafra; we have formed an interim government that will be in place till the next 30 days. “The interim government will take off tomorrow, August 1 and last till August 31, 2017, that is 30 days".

According to the self-acclaimed president, other members of the cabinet includes:
- Benny Lar, Secretary to the Government of the Republic
- Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, Governor Central Bank of Biafra
- Prof. Pat Utomi, minister of foreign affairs
- Amarachi Ubani, minister of information
- Mrs. Aruma Oteh, minister of finance
- Chief Nnia Nwodo, Ambassador to United states of America
- Prof. Jerry Gana, minister of transport
- Labaran Maku, minister of aviation
- Mrs. Mary Okafor, minister of trade and industry
- Gabriel Oluwole Osagie, minister of education
- Prof Barth Nnaji, minister of energy
- Philip Effiong Jnr., minister of health

He said “I am also calling on the avengers, the militants to come out from the creeks and join us to defend and protect Biafra. I’m beckoning on Asari Dokubo, Tompolo, Ateke Tom to come out and join us. I am calling on all our boys in Biafra land to come out. I’m not afraid, the US is with us.”
